Build a Expense Report Automator

Build an expense report automator that processes receipts automatically:

**Input Methods:**
- Upload receipt photo/PDF
- Forward email receipts to a dedicated address
- Drag-and-drop batch upload

**From Each Receipt, Extract:**
- Vendor/merchant name
- Date of purchase
- Total amount
- Payment method (if visible)
- Item description (if clear)

**Categorization:**
- Auto-suggest category based on vendor
- Categories: Travel, Meals, Software, Office, Marketing, etc.
- Learn from corrections (Starbucks → Meals)
- Project/client code assignment

**User Flow:**
1. Upload receipts (single or batch)
2. AI extracts data, shows preview
3. User confirms/corrects categories
4. Receipts added to current period
5. End of period: generate report

**Expense Report Output:**
- Formatted PDF matching company template
- CSV export for accounting software
- Totals by category
- Attached receipt images/PDFs

**Features:**
- Monthly summary dashboard
- Spending by category chart
- "Missing receipts" reminders
- Duplicate detection

**Tech Stack:**
- Next.js or React Native (for mobile camera)
- Claude Vision API for receipt OCR
- Firebase or Supabase for storage
- PDF generation with react-pdf

**Simple Version (Start Here):**
Web app with image upload → Claude extracts data → displays in table → download as CSV. Skip PDF generation and categories initially.
