# Claude SEO

Use this for any SEO question where the site or page is known: a full audit, a single page, technical checks, schema, sitemaps, content quality, Core Web Vitals, or readiness for AI answers (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity).

## Commands
- `/seo audit <url>`: full site audit
- `/seo page <url>`: one page in depth
- `/seo technical <url>`: crawlability, indexability, Core Web Vitals
- `/seo schema <url>`: detect, validate, and draft Schema.org markup
- `/seo content <url>`: E-E-A-T and content quality
- `/seo sitemap <url>`: analyze or generate an XML sitemap
- `/seo content-brief <topic>`: a brief with target keywords

## How a full audit runs
1. Detect the business type: SaaS, local, e-commerce, publisher, agency, or other.
2. Run the checks in parallel: technical, content, schema, sitemap, performance, visual, and AI-search readiness. Add local, e-commerce, or topic-cluster checks when the site calls for them. Search-experience checks run on every audit.
3. Optional data sources (Google Search Console, backlink tools) are used only if the user already has them connected.
4. Merge the results into one report.

## Score it
The SEO Health Score (0-100) weights technical SEO 22%, content quality 23%, on-page 20%, schema 10%, performance 10%, AI search readiness 10%, images 5%.

## Rank the fixes
- Critical: blocks indexing or risks a penalty. Fix now.
- High: hurts rankings. Fix this week.
- Medium: an opportunity. Fix this month.
- Low: backlog.
Give each fix a reason and a way to tell if it worked.

## Hard rules
- Use INP, never FID, for Core Web Vitals.
- Never recommend HowTo schema. Do not recommend new FAQPage markup for search features.
- Warn at 30+ near-identical location pages and stop at 50+ until the user justifies them.
